Implantable Hearing Device

OUNDTEC™ Inc. offers an exciting implantable device that has helped millions of users. The Direct System is a middle ear implant consisting of a tiny rare-earth magnet implanted in the middle ear, and a processor worn in the ear canal or behind the ear. Open Ear Canal Hearing Device

he RetroX is a new hearing system designed for those with high frequency hearing loss. Most hearing aids block the ear canal. The RetroX Hearing System works by sending amplified sound directly to the open ear canal. A tiny hollow tube connects the ear canal with the area behind the auricle (placed through the soft tissue) upon which a tiny digital hearing aid is attached.
